All professional drivers of vehicles in categories D1, D1+E, D and D+E (from 2008) or C1, C1+E, C and C+E (from 2009) and nationals of countries outside the EU who drive professionally within a member state are required to obtain 35-hours of retraining every five years. Please refer to the current legal situation for the applicable deadlines and regulations.
